If you want to throw yourself to the wolves 04/04/2007 09:56
You will get bitten every now and then. This guy was clearly a bit drunk and giving a compliment. I think Joostie and his wife should loosen up a little. - Mortie |

RE;Get over it. 04/04/2007 09:57
That couple is so old aged.If you go to the KKNK you should expect something like this to happen. The track record of Joost being a real party pooper is so full because he is very much to full of himself. Its the KKNK and party poopers should stay home. Can he take a joke or does he have to bea pain in the ass at every appearance that she has to perform. - Dan |

show some respect 04/04/2007 09:58
you know, men like that are just scum. i dont get it. how would he react if some guy walked up to his mother and nade a comment like that. whatever happened to respecting women. and the sad thing is that little boy's learn from men like that, and grow up thinking that it is ok. some of these men are fathers. and why should we tolerate it? to all the men out there, please show women some love and respect, after all, we are the reason why you on this earth today. Re: KKNK Mess 04/04/2007 10:07
As a person who grew up Afrikaans,I am shocked and ashamed of the current Afrikaans Culture in our country. Seemingly every idiot with a "below the belt song" can now cut a CD and unfortunately festivals like KKNK and others creates a forum where these "artists" can fester and grow. These festivals provides oppertunities for gross misconduct by common Afrikaners through alchohol and moral disabandonment, much to the annoyance of other artists who are there to perform and promote their artistry. - Pieter van der Sandt |

How do you get over being a pig? 04/04/2007 10:09
There's giving a compliment to a lady in a decent manner, and then there is being a pig. And even if you had something to drink, that doesn't give you the right to act like an ass. It is a CULTURAL festival after all! - Koet |

Amor 04/04/2007 10:11

Amore at KKNK 04/04/2007 10:12
You guys that think it's cool to swear and make remarks about woman in public are so uncool, raw and third world. Respect, respect and more respect, for others and above all, for yourself!
A drunk can't give a compliment, it's an insult! - Auntie |

RE: show some respect 04/04/2007 10:17
That guy needs a smack! He's the type that give guys bad names and people from the area he comes form ... if i knew that guy i'd be so ashamed and embarrassed. He probably talks like that to all women - sees them as a sexual figures instead of a unique person. - Brumilda |

Compliment 04/04/2007 10:20
Amor, after having two births you should take it as a compliment that other men out there (even maybe if they are drunk) still likes your tits!! Wish I had that body after one birth. - Jo |

Is'nt it the same pair that where published in a weekly mag and the couple sued as it was not her on the photo?? Her music is not that great so something should keep her on the map. Sorry, Joost, ek sal my bek hou. - Son |

Geez 04/04/2007 10:24
Like Mortie and Dan said, yes the man may have been a bit drunk and yes, perhaps one can expect something like that at the festival. But still, men like that are an embarrassment so society. He probably wants other to regard him as sophisticated when sober, yet he turns into a scumbag when drunk. Regardless of circumstances, gestures/comments like that are repulsive and uncalled for. We are not cavemen. Shows what a dismal job his dad did in teaching him respect for others. - Barry |

Get a life!!! 04/04/2007 10:45
When I read the heading i thought something major happened to Amor. Please, she and Joost needs to loosten up. They were at a "FEES" after all - and that is how people act and behave. If you don't like it, don't perform there again! They are such an old aged couple. BORING to say the least! VIVA KKNK - Chuck |

Show some respect 04/04/2007 10:52
This guy is a drunkerd idiot, who doesn't have respect at all. How can he utter words like that to other man's wife? His father must teach him to behave like a human being not an unruly hound. - Aletta |

Amor 04/04/2007 10:55
Artists like Amor are so cheap, nasty and god awful. That you have to look at her breasts to find anything half good with her show. So too can be said of Meneer Hofmyer he's also awful. And a whole host of Afrikaans performers. - alfred |

Low class 04/04/2007 11:03
There is no debating this, that guy is low class and so are the rest of the guys that made similar comments on this page reagrding her breasts on this page. Common, low class, embarassments to any culture. - Shez |

Agree with the compliment but would like to differ with the method/manner used to convey the message to the lady, the behaviour of the unnamed person should by no means take away the essence of the message - Van wyk |

Amor who? 04/04/2007 11:03

If someone made such a remark about my wife, I would bliksem him hard. It is a matter of principle. You just don't say that to a woman. The fact that it was in public and there were woman and children watching, made it worse. Uncivilized SCUMBAG. - LM |

Media Whores Mustn't Complain 04/04/2007 11:17
Get a life! It's not like the guy fondled/groped/assaulted her...
Amor is a media whore. If you are prepared to sell your wedding photos ("REAL BOERE-ITALIAN JOB") to You/Huisgenoot you are well and truly PUBLIC PROPERTY...
People who shamelessly self-promote the little or no talent they possess should not be so aggrieved by a harmless, if mildly off-colour, remark.
Funny how the moral guardians (above) think that this guy should be physically beaten... - senor neek |

Life goes on... 04/04/2007 11:17
Anyway, who cares? Maybe some super sensitve egos of wannabe popstars got bruised, it's the KKNK after all... Is this really a news worthy story?? Sure it was probably the most exciting thing that happened during Amor's "performance", someone had to wake up the audience. I salute the guy who abviously had too much KKNK "gees". - Jack |

The pot calling the kettle black? 04/04/2007 11:33
LM, to say you'll "bliksem him hard" is as uncivilised and scumbaggish as what our over-enthusiatic attendent did. We supposedly live in an educated and cicilised society and we are expected to deal with such incidents through common law - not with fisticuffs. A lot of people may not like the apporoach the guy took but it does not entitle anybody to react with criminal behaviour like assault. Why does Joostie baby-sit his wife? Doesn't he have a job to look after? Scared she'll disappear? - Tuffy |

It's the Culture 04/04/2007 11:35
If you have to go to the KKNK then you simply have to accept that you will be not only exposed to this sort of thing but splattered with it. It is after all a cultural event which refects the disrespectful and godless culture being showed off. - KKNK avoider |

Ladies and Gentleman were are suppose to enjoy cultural experiences. RESPECT is and always will be the cornerstone of any event. People who don't have it should not attend public functions. I don't care how much you drink it is only common curtesy not to insult or storm the celeb. They are only human just like eveyone else. - Karin |

Not a Fan of Amor, or any afrikaans music but, that was unacceptable. Regardless of whether it was a FEES??!! You just don't jump on stage and degrade someone. I think she should of called her boouncer though...could've given him a ass wipping!! - Chantal |
