SA DJ Suga to MC at Live Earth

  • Cape Town - Good Hope FM's midmorning DJ Suga will be joining supermodel Naomi Campbell as MC for the Live Earth SA concert on Saturday 7th July, introducing an impressive line-up of global artists to an estimated 2 billion people worldwide.

    Suga is well known not only as the presenter of the Cape Town Shakedown on Good Hope FM on weekdays, but also for having MC'd the 46664 concerts in Cape Town, George and Norway.

    The Live Earth SA Show, taking place at the Coca-Cola Dome in Johannesburg, is part of the 24 Hour, 7 Continent Concert Series to combat Global Warming.

    Performing in South Africa are Joss Stone, UB40, Babaa Maal, Angelique Kidjo, Soweto Gospel Choir, Danny K, The Parlotones, Vusi Mahlasela and Zola.

    The Live Earth SA concert is produced by BIG Concerts. Tickets cost R250 and are available from Computicket.
