Gospel singer shot dead Actor's family shocked, puzzled TV actor shot dead in Jhb bar

Johannesburg - The body of well-known gospel singer, Lucas "Mojeremane" Xale, has been found in Mabopane, Pretoria police said on Tuesday.

Inspector Matthews Nkoadi said Xale's body was found near a vehicle pound in Mabopane at about 18:00 on Monday.

Xale, 57, had no visible injuries. "It looks like he was strangled," Nkoadi said.

It was suspected he was murdered elsewhere and his body dumped in the area. Post mortem results were being awaited to determine the cause of death.

Police were investigating a murder case, Nkoadi said.
