Cape Town - It is Valentine's Day again and time for cuddly bears, flowers and lots of love.
Some well-known South Africans share their plans and expectations for this romantic day.
Comedian Dowwe Dolla always wanted a "Texas Ranger hat" for Valentine's Day. "I phoned Chuck Norris and he is starting the television reality series Cape Flats Ranger with me today."
Dolla says this programme would have a love theme, perfect for Valentine's Day. "The theme is make love, not war and people should watch to know how they could score."
Pedro Camara, known as Carlos from popular soapie 7de Laan, is planning to take his special someone to a restaurant in a coastal town. "It is very romantic, and we will have a nice dinner and enjoy the scenery. Hopefully there will be a full moon." All he wants is her "heart, soul and lots of love".
Another 7de Laan star Vinette Ebrahim, aka, Charmaine is going to work very hard on Wednesday. "If I really wanted a Valentine's gift, it would have been a week at a spa for two people. It must be in the veld with all the treatments and we must hold hands." She'll go with her "darling Ivan" or "Justin Timberlake, if I could".
Stormers captain Luke Watson is going to study a video of the Chiefs match on Valentine's Day and spend time with his friend and teammate Ross Skeate. The NFL game for Xbox would be a great gift.
Colin Moss, actor and presenter, is using the sea and champagne to his advantage to spoil his loved one. "We will be going on a boat trip to enjoy the sunset."
Zolani Mahola, lead singer of Freshlyground, plans to attend the production Nomvula: After the Rain with other members of the group.
All she wants is "love, love, love! Not only today, but every day".
