Snow White's mom was villain

Hong Kong - A drug company in China is promoting growth pills with advertisements in which Snow White gets friendlier with the seven dwarfs than the Brothers Grimm ever intended, a news report said on Wednesday.

The retelling of the famous fairy story being broadcast in radio commercials has the dwarfs growing to normal size after taking the pills and then entering into a polygamous relationship with Snow White.

There are no reported complaints about the advertising campaign although the South China Morning Post said children in Nanjing have been "surprised" at the unorthodox ending of the fairy story being broadcast in China's eastern Jiangsu province. - Sapa-DPA
