Warsaw - A lecturer at Warsaw's Medical Academy and his two assistants are facing up to eight years behind bars after police broke up their counterfeit Viagra operation, the Polish PAP news agency reported on Tuesday.

The pharmacologist and his team cooked up the fake impotence drug in a Medical Academy laboratory and then sold it to local sex shops and escort agencies at half the price of the real thing.

The report said the men were caught red-handed in the laboratory. - Sapa-dpa
