Orense - Spanish police were on Tuesday hunting for a python which disappeared from its cage at a circus in the northern city of Orense, police said.

The cage had reportedly been broken into, and police were investigating whether the snake had been stolen or had escaped.

The four-metre reticulated python could be dangerous if it felt threatened, police warned. - Sapa-dpa
