10th planet mulled over

New Delhi - Indian astrologers are wondering how to include the recently discovered 10th planet in their prediction system, a news report said on Thursday.
Astronomers in the United States announced the discovery of the planet 2003 UB313 lying beyond Pluto last month. Now, there is a debate on whether the object - the largest found in the solar system since Neptune in 1846 - can be classified as a planet.
Indian astrologers are, however, already trying to incorporate it into their complicated system of divination based on the movements of celestial bodies, the Ians news agency said.
"It will surely have its place in the horoscope and help us make better predictions," Ians quoted astrologer Nastur Daruwalla as saying. "We believe it will influence economic factors."
Niranjan Agnihotri, another astrologer, said there were 12 planets according to Hindu scriptures and two more remained to be discovered.
"The moral decadence of modern society is due to the vile influence of the 10th planet," he said. - Sapa-dpa
