'Witch' robs US bank

Washington - A woman dressed up as a witch with long blonde hair robbed a US bank on Halloween after handing a teller a note threatening that she had a weapon, police said on Tuesday.
The woman made off with a bag of cash, but Monday's caper in Olympia, Washington, quickly ended when a dye pack placed inside it exploded.
The woman dropped the cash and the shiny purple witch hat she was wearing and fled, police spokesperson Terence Brimmer said.
Police are investigating whether she is the same woman suspected of robbing another Washington Mutual bank in Olympia half an hour later - this time without a costume. - Sapa-dpa
