Survivor hid cigarettes

Cape Town - The secret is out: Survivor contestant Nico Hinis reportedly managed to take cigarettes and coffee beans to the island.
Nico, 43, owner of the Espresso Restaurant in Parkhurst, Johannesburg, had some sneaky plans up his sleeve to get his daily fixes - apparently sewing coffee beans into the seams of his pants and hat.
When host Mark Bayly instructed the tribes during the first episode to put everything they wanted to take onto their islands in one shared backpack, Nico immediately added two packets of cigarettes to the Aguilan mix.
Unfortunately these packets fell out when tribe members were running through the village of San Miguel.
But those weren't the only cigarettes in Nico's possession. He also hid four packets in his underpants.
Nico says he was scared that the camera crew would take the cigarettes away. To take a puff, he therefore went to the most private place on the island, their bush toilet.
In this week's episode one of Nico's tribe mates hides his cigarettes. Will the withdrawal symptoms drive him insane?
Survivor South Africa is screened every Sunday on M-Net's Open Time at 18:00.
