Survivors 'swop' torches

Cape Town - Sandton marketing manager, Sanele Gumede, 27, has become the second Survivor SA contestant to leave the show because of medical reasons.
Viewers were surprised at the end of the episode when Danielle Vukic, 35, was given a second chance to remain on the island.
Danielle was voted out by her Rana tribe during tribal council.
As a result of Sanele's decision to leave the island (even though his tribe didn't lose the immunity challenge), host Mark Bayly instructed Danielle to take Sanele's torch and take his place in the Aguila tribe.
Sanele tore a ligament in his shoulder during a challenge and was taken from the island on medical advice.
After Sanele consulted a doctor in Panama, it was decided he would return home, because he was told he could lose his arm if he did not get medical assistance.
He has not undergone surgery in South Africa since his return three months ago, but is receiving physiotherapy and still wakes up with pain in his shoulder every day. He is still unable to lift weights, do press-ups or play basketball.
Sanele told Die Burger: "It was a bitter pill to swallow to leave the programme, but it was out of my control.
"You want to leave the competition honourably."
He said it would be "very, very difficult" for Danielle to gel with the Aguila tribe members.
"Luckily for her she'll have Nico, who is very unpredictable. Nico is the guy who can create an opportunity for her to form an alliance with Brigitte and buy more time for Danielle on the island."
