Gareth a hot favourite
22/11/2006 09:33  - (SA)

Cape Town - Fans of Survivor South Africa's sexy doctor Gareth Tsjasink are bidding to get their hands on his tribal buff.

Of all the Survivor SA memorabilia up for auction on www.bidorbuy.co.za, Gareth's buff is the most sought-after item.

Several hundred web surfers have already visited the site to submit offers on the items.

The money that is collected will be donated to the Chris Hani Baragwanath hospital's paediatric section.

More than 300 potential buyers want Gareth's buff and the going rate by Tuesday afternoon was R420.

Next in line is Jacinda's buff at R270, and Brigitte's buff is going for at least R160.

If buyers want the fishing line and hat used by Mzi they will have to fork out at least R70, but no one seems to want Danielle's smelly footwear - the shoes are still on offer at R20.

Although more than 200 surfers checked out Brigitte's turquoise shampoo bottle, there were few offers, and the going price is only R20.

The orange comb that washed up on shore - used by all the girls, and the toothbrush that also found its way onto the beach - don't seem to be hot favourites either (R20 each).

The auction closes on December 4.
