ANC President Jacob Zuma has launched a final bid in the country's highest court to block evidence seen as crucial to his pending corruption trial.
A full bench of 11 judges started in the morning to hear arguments by the parties, who have filed simultaneous and multi-pronged applications for permission to appeal against search and seizure operations carried out by prosecutors in 2001 and 2005.
Zuma goes on trial in August on 16 counts of fraud, corruption, money laundering and racketeering.
