Health24's CyberVet
Ginger's skin rash, Rex's diabetes, Jessie's odd eating habits - no problem too big or too small for Health24's CyberVet. And he's not scared to say what he really thinks either.

LETTER
Children ARE the future, David
25/03/2002 12:35  - (SA)

Answerit can help.

Why does David Rasnick continue to question "how many Aids cases, Aids deaths, and Aids orphans were there in South Africa at the end of 2001" when he has:

  • stated that HIV/Aids is a "harmless virus"
  • doesn't believe that HIV causes Aids, and consequently
  • argued the futility of even discussing an Aids "epidemic" when meeting with "Mbeki's Aids panel"?

Taunting the South African public with his incredulity seems to me to be almost as cruel as this deadly virus is since David well knows that the Aids panel - which he is so much part of - identified in their 2000 report that "Aids is not a notifiable condition in South Africa and thus reliable statistics on Aids do not exist".

It takes a callous heart to be able to write "the future will take care of itself" when children ARE the future and no abandoned or orphaned child is capable of looking after itself, much less when sick or dying!
