It's time to stop crime in SA
27/07/2006 10:53 - (SA)
Dear Editor,
Every week, someone complains about the crime in our country. It has reached astronomical proportions, I agree, but moaning will have no effect.
Can someone please organise a countrywide march, or a strike?
Get everyone out in the street, march on parliament, and toi-toi until something is done about the situation.
I want to see our streets overflowing with South Africans, with one mutual goal. To force our government to do what they are there for, and that is to protect its citizens.
We are all being murdered - black, brown and white. And our government doesn't care. As long as they draw their monthly salaries, they are content.
Get every South African out there in a well-organised march and keep on marching until the government does something about our crime problem. Make Charles Nqakula accountable for what is happening!
