ANCYL and Cosatu 03/09/2008 13:24
I listened to a clip in which Julius Malema claimed that the Scorpions are a Apartheid institute, he is a complete idiot, he cannot string a few words together whitout sounding like a complete twat, same goes to all in Cosatu. - Martin |

emotional 03/09/2008 13:28
I agree, these guys have murder on their minds, and why? why are all these people so emotional? ... probably because they have some hidden agenda, some corrupt money making scheme with JZ! oh, my hope is fading.... - hopeless |

agree, 03/09/2008 13:29
with you. But is it realy a surprise about what is happening? Certain members of the ruling party think themselves to be above the law, yet when there misconducts are out in the open, they take to threats, strikes, violence etc etc etc.... Im not surprised, worried yes - Mart |

Animals 03/09/2008 13:29
What these animals dont understand is that their lust for violence and power makes fools of them- Again the rest of the civilised society sit back and ask ourselves "why should we have to put up with this" Throw this trash in jail and let them spew their venom there. - Blikkies |

ANC Response 03/09/2008 13:30
A question to all the readers out there. Have the ANC denounced this fools comments in the media or have the followed a route of silence? Which begs the question. Do they secretley want these kind of comments made or do they just not care? I can not wait until all the people of SA are educated so that people who make comments like this get shunned completely. SA and the world have no place for people who do not respect the rule of law however misguided they feel it is. - Jason |

Agree completely 03/09/2008 13:34
It is that twisted 'logic' behind supporting someone no matter what that will ensure we become like Zimbabwe. Why not stand together against the rotten elements in society so that true leaders can shine?! - D |
|

Very true 03/09/2008 13:36
Getting extremely tired of this as well. Who the he11 do they think they are? It's childish, barbaric and totally unacceptable. Funny how the waterkloof 4's case could go on for many years, and it's OK, but the zuma supporters keep reiterating how it's unfair to prosecute him for 7 years. It's all about getting on his good side, for when he's president. Bunch of monkeys indeed. - Viparo |

as a black man 03/09/2008 13:37
i am somewhat disturbed even more so embarrassed by these remarks and totally disgusted in the way my people are behaving. Never in my life have i seen a white man make public remarks like this. These people call themselves politicians and people for the people they are more like butchers with machine guns. I fear south africas security is in danger with mad men like luzipho and co running SA. Why are these men embarrassing black africans like this i dont know they are all going mad. - makondo |

Gutter Politics 03/09/2008 13:37
These people are all trying to make a name for themselves and the more sensational the comments the better. How does he even begin to try and kill a government dept. These comments are for the CV when Zuma eventually becomes president. - Brenton |

Dont vote the ANC! 03/09/2008 13:37
I did and NEVER again.... Vernon, this is all true but we are apparently helpless against our "leaders".They do whatever the hell they please and we just sit back and type out a few words of disgust.I'm equally disturbed my brother but hey what can you do if we do become a collective. This lunacy will surely drive us to despair. - Kitty |

Political opportunity 03/09/2008 13:38
Agree with you 100%. All the people making these statements want to get in JZ's good books to secure their own positions in next year's government. Look at the caliber of people making these remarks! My biggest concern is JZ's total silence on this matter. I wonder if any of my black brothers in this forum will have the guts to distance themselves from this rhetoric?? Or are you also a "ja-broer" when not condemning these statements? - JR |

Investors... 03/09/2008 13:39
Unfortunately the world is watching, and comments like those give a serious blow to the sentiment of investors. The only investors that will remain will be the merciless that will milk us dry like the oil companies are milking Angola, Nigeria and many other African countries. The poorest will suffer the most. We can only stand by and watch the African way run its course. These guys remind me allot about Mugabe's generals. Whats in it for them? - Skeptic |

Killing in the name of... 03/09/2008 13:39
These animals must just remember the old saying: "If you wanna talk the talk, don't be afraid to walk the walk" We are getting tired of this barbaric speeches, songs and war dances by these ex-freedom fighters. We will not start the war as we don't want this to go to war, but if they're going to start it, we're damn-well going to finish it!!! - The Prophet |
|
 |
| |
Agreed 03/09/2008 13:41
I am in absolute agreement with you there. If comments like those were made in any other country from America, to Russia, to China, those who uttered the threats would be dealt with in a serious manner. Why is it different here? Clearly because those who are being said are worth killing for are the ones who are most likely to rule next... and will therefore not stand up and take a stance against such traitorous statements! Both those who say them and those who are corrupt are traitors!! - Goodness Gracious |
|

Stand up! 03/09/2008 13:41
I strongly disagree with this article! I would gladly - without any remorse - follow the wishes of the Cosatu and ANCYL leaders!! take up arms and fight for what is right! - Makgatso |

Dumberer 03/09/2008 13:42
Yes, these people have no respect for the calm and order that fellow south africans deserve, and to compare killing the scorpions to that of killing a dog, these poeple prove their utter stupidity and lack of respect for any living being. Zet, your dog is biting your relatives for a reason! - cvz |

Agree 03/09/2008 13:43
These not so young brats needs to be put in place. Watch for next year election they will be used as propaganda muppets inflicting violence and intimidation. I bet that they are all ready training on how to necklace, build a explosive device and to sweep up people to kill. May justice prevail. - KAC |

So What? 03/09/2008 13:50

Animals 03/09/2008 13:50
PLEASE don't compare this dimwits to animals! Besides saying that the scorpions are run by the apartheid personnel I also heard a new description "Colonial Genocide under Apartheid" - now I can only remember apartheid coming into effect under the Nationalist Party (I think under Verwoerd - stand to be corrected). - max |

Makgatso 03/09/2008 13:50
I think we would all fight for what is right. I simply do not believe preventing someone from having his day in court is right. Also, threatening to kill others because you do not want your friend to appear in court is criminal. If he is so innocent, why not let the process takes its course. Who knows, he might be found innocent. Cosatu and ANCYL believe he is guilty, hence their bad behaviour - Len van Heerden |

Frightening thought 03/09/2008 13:56
With the Scorpions now being disbanded and the attacks of the constitutional court judges - I do not know where we are heading to. Remember that the Commissioner of Police is still on paid leave pending his criminal charges. By the way, the same with the Ekurhuleni Chief of Police. Be afraid - be very afraid. - Nkateko |

Embarrassed and Ashamed 03/09/2008 13:56
That guys younger than I am have the hatred in their vocabulary to spew such venom. It might not make much of a difference, but I will go vote next year and will destroy my ballot. Hopefully, sensible people will so to the politics of hate and perhaps those now padding their CVs will be disappointed with a simple majority win compared to 67%. ANC through and through, but cannot support this nonsense - Thembalabantubonke |

@Makgatso 03/09/2008 13:58
The sad thing is that no matter how dumb, ignorant, bias and pathetic a "leaders" comments show him to be - this country seems to have an abundance of even more stupid morons who look up to him and follow without question!....time to give up - I did. - stjohn |

Enough with the hysteria 03/09/2008 13:58
Firstly, Malema, Vavi, Luzipho et al are members of specific organisations that do not (and do not claim to) represent the majority of the country. Our elected reps are in parliament -not one has been linked to such statements. As for the ANC, if you'd been reading the papers you'd know that Motlanthe has been vocal in his condemnation of these statements. At least, unlike the Boeremag, they aren't planning a coup - VG |
|
 |
| |
Don't let them get to you Vernon 03/09/2008 14:00
This is the reaction the ANCYL is looking for. Don't give them the satisfaction. Julias Malema and his cronies are so far fetched and ridiculous that no one pays attention. Rest assured, just as he is prepared to take up arms and kill so am I and many others to maintain stability and defend out rights, I just don't go shouting it in the media. - Van |

I totally agree!! 03/09/2008 14:03
it is with disgust that I watch what is happening to our country, how are we to be proud with people like this making such horrific comments!! shame on them, and shame on Makgatso to be the only idiot to stand up!! You will one day stand alone - mark our words!!!! - Ims |

If it's a war they want... 03/09/2008 14:05

@idiot Makgatso 03/09/2008 14:05
if everyone will do the barbaric thing and take up arms this country will be condemned to 1m% inflation like Zim and we will all lose.
The ANC thinks they are above the law because 1)the have been suffering apartheid and eligible to take what they want 2)they have such a majority, they can lie and corrupt everyone(own members included) to the advantage of a few. Sound familiar? The "success" story for the whole Africa thus far.

Makgatso 03/09/2008 14:05
It's comments like yours my friend that belittle your race. Fight for what is right? And what is that exactly? Corrpution? Abuse of power? Ignorant leadership?
Please do South Africa a favour and use your brain to think for yourself instead of just following the uneducated masses. - Jason Davidson |

Really 03/09/2008 14:07
Im just baffled by the entitlement expressed by most columnist here. South Africa belongs to Aficans(All other groups are legal immigrants). Anyway even during the armed struggle you never supported the ANCYL/SACP.. and the rest of the alliance. The ANCYL will always be relavent to the majority of these country. So get off your high horses and emmigrate. - Mathibela |

sick of JZ 03/09/2008 14:08

Conspiracy? 03/09/2008 14:09
Since the outbreak of Zenophobic attacks I have been wondering...Xenophobic incedents have always and will always occur, but he outbreak recently was too big to be normal. Orchestrated? By whom? Now the new buzz word "Counter-Revolutionary". What revolution??? What exactly is this? Other than a very emotive word. Now all the kill statements. Even the socalled rugby incident, with no witnesses. I believe that the likes of Malema are building a militant following. Who are the targets going to be? w - Stryder |
|
 |
| |
William 03/09/2008 14:11
Your comments are no different to those of Malema and his clan of idiots. Your statements create the kind of reaction your get from Makgatso and it foes not help anyone. As VG says, Kgalema (unlike Zuma) has condemned these statements and rightfully so. To assume that all Africans are bound to such idiocy is racist. - L |
|
 |
| |
@Makondo and Makgatso 03/09/2008 14:11
Makondo - I feel for you. I am sure you do feel embarrassed and yet there is probably very little you can do about it. If you denounced this in your community you would probably be called all sorts of names like "puppet of the West" and all those others misguided, crazy things people say. Makgatso - you are insane. How can you back a criminal? Are a criminal yourself and see nothing wrong with it? - Karen |

Lawless society 03/09/2008 14:12
There's a saying lead by example and these guys are future leaders. It does not bode good for the future of South Africa. The government must remove these people from their posts. And we wonder why we get classified as a lawless society. - John Camp |

Question all 03/09/2008 14:12
Will any of you people complaining about this 'kill' statements die for your country? Kill for your country? If not, why not? When Zuma is the president this then implies that you will have to in a time of war as he is the leader! And believe me, there is a lot of forces that does not want Zuma to be president. But hey, everything is mos his fault?! - Rhapelang |

Stand strong 03/09/2008 14:20
Its not about the scorpions, its about taking action! This country, better said the african community, needs a strong leader and needs someone which we all need to trust and follow whole-heartedly! Die and Kill 03/09/2008 14:22
Remember what Ghandi, the great liberator of so many people, both in Africa and India said: "There are many causes that I will die for, but none which I will kill for." Perhaps some of our "liberating leaders" should show their commitment in just this way. Self sacrifice would show the strength of their beliefs. - Mixed Race |

Spotted the joke? 03/09/2008 14:27
Anyone also noticed the similarity between the puppet "Achmed the dead terrorist" and these clowns (I kill you!)? But I guess that's where the joke ends, sadly. Just remember that there is a certain concentrated but small group in SA (ie the white, black, other colours educated class) who pay the most taxes, and thus finance this government, whose members are threatening to kill us. What a sick setup!!! - HT |

Taking statement out of context 03/09/2008 14:28

ANC propaganda (Guilty until proven Innocent) 03/09/2008 14:30
I have been going to the Scorpions hearings, and the sheeple who rock up, who want the Scorpions disbanded, actually, believe the lies that Zuma is innocent. But then again, the ANC propaganda machine was trained by the Communist Russians, hence of the best in the world. I HOPE Zuma is the 1st of Landmark corruption cases. IF he's found guilty, we can start targeting other ANC members. I mean politicians :/ - Sinudeity |

Most organisations are made up of people. To be honest, I do not know any organisations not made up by people. So, if someone says they will kill the Malema household, we should not worry as they are referring to the family, rather than individuals? - Len van Heerden |

mzi 03/09/2008 14:42
you have no idea what it is to run a country - just like your party - instead of focusing on the economy and rooting our corruption - you threaten the stability of the country for your own selfish reasons. nuff said - the "masses" you refer to are a bunch of unemployed useless people with the time to strike. the real masses are out there making a living. - fern |

The long road NOT to freedom 03/09/2008 14:44
We will alays have some form of opposition either to the left or to the right. Thats democracy in the working. What is mindbongling is how we can sit and yap yap whilst you have dangerous mndsets threatning the nationa security of our country. Why is it acceptable for us to raise our voice yet lower our will to fight back. Ghandi fought without violence, are we a nation of words backed by no action...i really wonder what will happen when it is too late to do anything.... - jay |

Julius und Co. 03/09/2008 14:44
Had a good laugh yesterday - Julius seen in a news clip of etv making his submission RE: Scorpions in Parliament. Arrived probably in his fancy german car and was dressed to kill in a designer suit and tie! He explained to the commission that where he comes from and in his language - Pedi? - the word kill does not mean the same as in english! Why did he not show up there dressed in traditional attire of his culture if he is so proud of it??????

I really enjoy the people that post here that laugh at our leaders, treat us with direct disrespect but also tells us to forget the past!
