ANC 'playing with people'

Dear Editor,
The ANC's launched manifesto is just a case of broken promises being revised!
The Eastern Cape was the chosen province for the ruling party's bit election manifesto launch but I am appalled and disgusted by this.
I am from the Eastern Cape and I understand the problems in the province which makes it one of the least-developed provinces in South Africa, from road infrastructure, to educational resources in schools, to recreational activities for children etc.
The ruling party still chose this province as their launching ground for the elections, filled with promises of better life for all and all that jazz. I think they are playing with people's lives; people who they know are struggling and dying to hear good news. Yet again they make promises to these masses, promises that have been debated over and over again by opposition parties and promise that the ANC hasn't fulfilled.
At the end of the day the masses went back to their home where they have inadequate food or shelter and the ANC members went to parties with expensive champagne and decorated venues that cost a fortune to celebrate how they have seemingly "won over" the Eastern Cape because the masses filled the stadia.
If I was in the Eastern Cape I would have probably gone to the stadium not because I am an ANC supporter but because I wanted to hear what they would say as a Cope supporter. A lot of people also went to see the people they normally see on TV and a lot of people went because such events seldom happen in the Eastern Cape. ANC T-shirts were given out for free I suppose as well.
For the ANC to assume that everyone that was there was an ANC supporter is a huge mistake. I find nothing exciting about their manifesto, we have heard it all before!
