Our "That's News to Me" competition has closed.
The winner will be announced before the end of September.

These finalists will go into the running for the grand prize of a Canon Digital Camera and printer worth R20 000!
Competition rules:
The competition ran from July 9 to August 31.
Weekly finalists will be voted for by the public each Monday on News24.
The winning entry from each week will be considered for the prize at the end of the competition.
The judge's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
Only original photographs, and photographs submitted with the name of the photographer and a description will be considered for the weekly vote and grand prize.
The prize cannot be exchanged for cash and is not transferable.

Staff members of Media24, and their agencies, as well as their immediate families may not enter.
If the prize is not claimed within 3 months of the prize-winner being announced, it will be awarded to the next eligible winner.
News24 reserves the right to use your photos in the presentation of other editorial content, and we undertake to credit the photographer each time we use the image.
By entering the competition, you acknowledge that while you retain ownership of the photographs, we reserve the right to use and edit the photos in our presentations.
