London - Germany coach Jurgen Klinsmann was the top coach at the World Cup, according to the British Sunday Times newspaper.
Germany missed out on the final after losing to Italy in the semis but beat Portugal 3-1 in the match for third place in Stuttgart on Saturday.
The Sunday Times said the 41-year-old Klinsmann was the best because, among other things, "he opened everyone else's eyes" to his "vision".
Italy coach Marcello Lippi was rated second.
