Johannesburg - Three robbers forced a Brakpan woman to help them ransack her own home before they drove off in her car, taking household appliances and clothes, police reported on Thursday.
Spokesperson Annaline Prinsloo said the woman, in her late 50s, and her 62-year-old husband were asleep when the robbers entered the house in Reitz Avenue, Dalview, around 02:00.
They were held at gunpoint and the husband was tied up. Then the robbers ordered the woman to unlock doors and give them the keys to the couple's green Nissan Skyline, registration KRY738GP.
Prinsloo said it was estimated the couple lost R115 000 in goods.
