Jilted lover runs rampant

Cradock, Eastern Cape - A man shot and wounded his girlfriend and her lover before turning the gun on himself on Saturday in Venterstad in the Karoo region of the Eastern Cape police said on Sunday.
Inspector Stephanie Smith said Brian van Wyngaard, 25, went to a tavern shortly before 23:00 and saw his girlfriend with another man.
Wyngaard went home to fetch his gun and returned to the tavern. He confronted the couple.
He opened fire on them, shooting her twice in the back and the lover in the shoulder. He then shot himself in the head. He died on the scene.
The woman and her lover were taken to a local hospital were they were both in a stable condition.
