Former CCB man in court

Ba-Phalaborwa - A former member of the now-defunct Civil Co-operation Bureau (CCB) and six foreign mercenaries were expected to appear in Lulekani magistrate's court in Limpopo on Tuesday, SABC radio news reported.
They face seven counts of murder and 70 of attempted murder in connection with a 1986 incident during which members of the former SA Defence Force hurled three grenades at a crowd which had gathered at a house at Lulekani in Ba-Phalaborwa.
The group had gathered to discuss a consumer boycott. The former CCB member is presently serving a 26-year prison sentence on a charge of murder.
