Britain princess visits SA prison

Johannesburg - Britiain's Princess Anne, the Princess Royal who was on a private visit to South Africa, visited Johannesburg prison on Saturday.
Her visit on Saturday morning highlighted the British government's co-operation and partnership programme in South Africa in the areas of safety, security and justice which is valued at R12.5m.
Britain was in the process of establishing a new R150m programme with South Africa.
The princess met youth offenders, convicted mothers and their babies and also participants in restorative justice.
In restorative justice convicted criminals work with the victims against whom they had committed the crimes.
