E Cape woman slain at home

Umtata - A 51-year-old woman was shot dead by a gunman at her home at Mafini Village in Nqeleni on Wednesday night, Eastern Cape police said on Thursday.
Superintendent Nondumiso Jafta said the woman was with her husband when a man wearing a balaclava gained entry.
He asked her where was her husband and then shot her before she could answer. She died at the scene.
The motive for the killing was still not clear, Jafta said.
