Robber killed in shoot-out

Pretoria - A robber was shot dead in a shoot-out between a shop owner and six robbers at Marabastad in Pretoria on Sunday.
Police spokesperson Percy Morokane said a paraffin retail shop was about to close at 13:00 when six men entered and demanded money.
The owner managed to get hold of his own firearm and a brief shoot-out ensued.
The shop owner was wounded in the stomach, while one of the robbers was later found dead by police.
Two more of the robbers were arrested shortly afterwards.
Three remain at large with a substantial amount of cash.
The owner is in critical condition in a private hospital.
