Mom, son found murdered

Johannesburg - A 49-year-old woman and her 15-year-old son were found murdered at their home in Eldorado Park on Tuesday, Soweto police said on Tuesday.
Superintendent Thembi Nkhwashu said the woman's daughter made the gruesome discovery when she and her boyfriend went to visit her mother on Tuesday morning.
When they arrived, the doors were locked and no one responded to their knocking.
The daughter peeped through her mother's bedroom window and saw her mother with blood on her body.
When the boyfriend broke open the window, they found the mother's body with blood flowing from her mouth. A blunt object, believed to be the murder weapon, was found next to her body.
The boyfriend found the teenager's body in another room, lying on the floor and tied to a security door with electrical wire.
Nkhwashu said police believed the wire was used in the teen's murder.
