Boy, 3, whipped to death

Wolmaranstad, North West - A three-year-old boy was allegedly whipped to death for urinating in his mother's boyfriend's house.
The boy, Goodwell Mere, and his mother, Eva Mere, had been visiting her boyfriend, Abel Sephiri, 36, on a North West farm on Saturday when the incident occurred.
Sephiri appeared briefly in the Wolmaranstad magistrate's court on Monday and was not asked to plead to murder.
He was remanded in custody and will apply for bail next Monday.
