Kimberley - Two women were raped in separate incidents in the Northern Cape on Friday night, police said.
In the first incident, three men, aged 15, 17 and 25, were arrested for allegedly raping a 34-year-old woman in Postmasburg, Captain Tony Modise said.
Community members called police after they heard the woman's screams around 19:00.
"On arrival police found one of the suspects in the act and the other two watching. All three were arrested and the woman received medical attention and counselling."
A 37-year-old man was arrested in Kanoneiland, near Upington, for the alleged rape of a teenage girl.
The 19-year-old accompanied the man, a friend of hers, to his room around 23:00 where he locked her in and allegedly raped her, Modise said.
The man was arrested and would appear in the Upington magistrate's court on Monday.
