Cape Town - With a doctor on standby, 45 elderly people were surprised by two female strippers on Thursday morning.
According to the organiser of the event, the elderly residents of Murundi House in Wynberg, Cape Town tremendously enjoyed it.
It was the idea of Dangerboy, a wacky 5fm presenter, to entertain the elderly in this way.
The services of two strippers, Amelia and Sasha, were obtained for the event and they showed the residents how it should be done.
Doctor wasn't needed
The shyer one of the two strippers only took off her top, while the other one stripped naked.
While the 15 elderly ladies giggled, the 30 elderly men stared in wonder.
Shortly after the first show, one of the women decided enough is enough and left the hall. The rest of them remained at their posts and enjoyed the show.
One of the men apparantly got so carried away that he gave one of the strippers a kiss on the bottom when she bowed in front of him.
Another one's face ended up between a stripper's breasts while she was dancing in front on him.
The whole affair was broadcast on Mark Gillman's Breakfast Show on 5fm on Thursday.
Dangerboy said on Thursday: "It was a marketing ploy to raise awareness about the needs of the elderly in today's world.
"We also did it to make people aware of the Old School is Cool welfare association which raises money for poor elderly people."
Dangerboy said fortunately it was not necessary for the doctor to step in and he could enjoy the show with the rest of the audience.
