Cape Town - The case of former Cape Town magistrate's court archives clerk Deon Stoffels, who faces charges of corruption and theft, has been set for November 9.
Stoffels, 36, is alleged to have stolen and sold charge sheets from Cape Town magistrate's court. It is also alleged he stole a R450 postal order from funds intended for the maintenance of divorced mothers and their children.
Stoffels appeared in Cape Town magistrate's court on Friday but the case was set out to next Wednesday.
His defence counsel, Melanie Rossouw, said more time was needed to complete aspects of the investigation into her client's alleged crimes.
