Bee victim's hubby set for op

Johannesburg - The husband of the woman stung to death by bees after her car hit an electrical sub-station in Senderwood is to undergo surgery on a leg, said Netcare 911 on Tuesday.
Spokesperson Paul Nel said 60-year-old James Carmichael broke the femur in one leg in the accident on Monday.
Commonly known as the thigh bone, the femur runs from the hip to the knee and is the longest and strongest bone in the body.
"He (Carmichael) is stable at the moment and just waiting to have surgery done.
"We don't know when that will be as he is on medication right now."
It appears the couple's accident disturbed a massive beehive covering the roof of the sub-station.
The bee hive has since been removed.
