Polokwane - Two more men have been arrested in Limpopo in connection with muti murders.

The two men are accused of killing Phineas Dikotla, 26, and slicing off his genitals. He was found dead along a street in Maripathekong Boshega village near Polokwane on November 6.

The suspects were arrested after a tip-off on Saturday and allegedly led police to where Dikotla's genitals were wrapped in plastic and hidden in the veld outside the village.

Chris Ramotlane, 24, and Daniel Mokong, 25, appeared in the Mankweng regional court on Tuesday and were denied bail.

The case was postponed to December 20.

On Monday, two other men appeared in the Thohoyandou magistrate's court in connection with killing a man and removing his genitals and tongue.

The man's girlfriend was also attacked but survived after her lips were sliced off.

The couple was attacked in Makonde village near Thohoyandou, Limpopo, on October 23.

Two suspects, aged 31 and 54, were arrested on Saturday at Thengwe and Tshidzini respectively.

They have not been asked to plead to murder and attempted murder and were remanded in custody pending their next court appearance on November 23.
