Johannesburg - A 29-year-old motorist accused of killing a taxi driver in a road-rage incident was refused bail in Johannesburg magistrate's court on Monday.

Captain Cheryl Engelbrecht said the case was postponed to Friday for further investigation.

The man allegedly shot the taxi driver five times on the Corlett Drive off-ramp from the M1 motorway in Johannesburg on Friday.

The man died a couple of hours later after being airlifted to hospital.

None of the passengers in his minibus were injured.
