Politician's son eludes police

Johannesburg - Pretoria police confirmed on Saturday that they are still searching for Chad Khan, the son of a politician, wanted in connection with the killing on his girlfriend last month.
Police spokesperson inspector Paul Ramaloko said: "The gentleman is a suspect in the case. We are still searching for him. Even his family does not know where he is."
Khan's girlfriend Lauren "Lolly" Sleep, 22, was strangled at Sleep's house in Hercules, west of Pretoria on January 19, following an argument between Khan and Sleep.
A woman, a friend of Sleep's, was stabbed in the stomach, chest, back and arm.
Khan is the son of Peter Khan, a candidate for the Independent Democrats in next month's local government elections.
