Four shot in Wild-West chase

Pretoria - Three robbers were seriously wounded in a wild shoot-out with police in Pretoria on Monday.
The three were shot after police forced them off the road in Mountain View after a car chase through the city after a robbery at the post office in Mayville Shopping Centre.
Inspector Anton Breedt said five men robbed the post office just before 13:00.
"They managed to flee with some money, but were confronted by members of the public outside the centre and there was a shoot-out."
A civilian was wounded and taken to hospital where he was in a serious condition.
The robbers drove off, but police spotted them on the road and chased them.
"They caught them on the corner of Ivor and Hanau roads where there was a shoot-out between the robbers and police," said Breedt.
The three wounded robbers were taken to hospital where they were in a serious condition.
Another robber managed to flee, but police caught him in a nearby property. The fifth robber was still at large.
Breedt said police recovered the money and also found two firearms in the robbers' possession.
