Three women gang-raped

Bloemfontein - Three women were gang raped in two incidents in Turflaagte, Bloemfontein, police said on Sunday.
In the first case, two women, aged 23 and 25, were attacked by three men early on Saturday morning when they took a taxi home from a tavern.
After getting out of the taxi at about 04:00, they here held at knifepoint by the rapists and taken to a nearby home and stabbed as well as raped.
In a second incident, a woman and her boyfriend were attacked at 23:00 on Friday night.
The 37-year-old woman and her boyfriend were at a tavern at Freedom square where they were attacked by three young men with knives.
The man was beaten up and the woman was kidnapped and raped at a nearby home.
