Johannesburg - A man was arrested on Tuesday morning after he allegedly sold dagga to school pupils in Soshanguve, said Pretoria police.

Inspector Paul Ramaloko said the man, in his late 20s, was arrested at his home at about 08:30 and an unspecified amount of dagga was seized.

"Allegedly the man has been supplying dagga to school students," said Ramaloko. He was arrested after a tip-off.

He is due to appear in the Soshanguve magistrate's court soon on charges of possession of and dealing in dagga.
