Dagga found after police chase

Johannesburg - Free State police confiscated dagga with an estimated street value of R120 000 from a car abandoned by its driver in a high speed police chase on Saturday.
Superintendent Motarafi Ntepe said police saw a suspicious-looking Toyota Cressida on the Winburg-Theunissen road around 3am and tried to stop the driver.
When he sped off, the police gave chase. Shortly afterwards the man stopped the car, jumped out and disappeared.
The dagga and the car were confiscated.
Eastern Free State police were investigating, said Ntepe.
