Port Elizabeth - Two young boys were arrested for sodomising a 10-year-old in Port Alfred, said Eastern Cape police on Monday.

Captain Mali Govender said the boy was attending inter-school soccer and rugby matches at Station Hill grounds on Saturday.

The other two boys - aged 12 and 14 - allegedly dragged the 10-year-old to the nearest bushes, where he apparently was sodomised.

Govender said a case of indecent assault was being investigated.

The two boys were due to appear in Port Alfred magistrate's court on Tuesday.
