  • Johannesburg - A 29-year old motor industry worker won over R6 million in the national lottery while on honeymoon in Margate, Uthingo said on Tuesday.

The man was on his honeymoon in Margate, KwaZulu-Natal with his wife when he decided to play the Lotto last Wednesday.

Shananda Janse van Rensburg of Uthingo, the Lotto management company, said the man asked to remain anonymous.

"He was paid out on Friday," she said.

Before winning the R6&nbsop;251 920 jackpot, the man had promised his wife to build her the house of her dreams.

"He was shocked, confused and nervous when he found out he had won," said Janse van Rensburg.

The man has decided not to give up his job.
