Man jailed for rape spree

Middelburg - A 25-year-old man from Five Morgen, in Dennilton, was sentenced to three life terms plus four years, for rape and armed
robbery, in the Middleburg circuit of the Pretoria High Court on Tuesday.
Vusi Skhosana, 25, was facing three counts of rape and only pleaded guilty to two, and pleaded not guilty to the armed robbery charge.
The court found that he committed these crimes over a seven day period in February 2005, and was arrested on March 26.
He has been in custody ever since.
The court found that on February 19, he robbed a 36-year-old woman of jewellery, whose value is not known, at knife point
before raping her. Then, on February 21, he raped a 17-year-old woman, then on the 28, he raped a 13-year-old girl. All his victims were from Dennilton.
For each of the rapes he was sentenced to a life term.
