Teens held for school attack

Cape Town - Police have arrested three teenagers who allegedly attacked 17-year-old Hlalanathi August, a Grade 9 pupil at Oscar Mpetha High in Nyanga, on Tuesday morning.
Hospital spokesperson Felicity September told News24 that the boy was in a stable condition. She said he'd been stabbed in the head and back.
The school's principal, Dumile Mawisa, said: "Hlalanathi was rushed to hospital after he was stabbed roughly six times by three intruders who'd stormed into his class.
"The attack happened at about 12:15, during break.
"The suspects got access to the school premises by jumping over the fence, as the gate was locked."
Hlalanathi's family was informed about the attack and they rushed to the school. They went with when he was taken to GF Jooste Hospital by ambulance.
It's not known why Hlalanathi was attacked.
