Cape Town - A 35-year-old woman and her baby boy are still missing after being kidnapped at gunpoint while walking in Guguletu earlier this week, said Western Cape police on Friday.
Nomazwe Bethiwe was walking with her brother-in-law and five-month-old son Okuhle on Monday when a 1983 Mazda, registration number CA 482 751, stopped next to them, said captain Elliot Sinyangana.
"An angry adult male whose age is estimated between 45 and 50 years came out of his car and forced her and the child inside his car at gunpoint."
"The man then drove away at high speed. The alleged kidnapper was believed to be from Qumbu in the Eastern Cape and was known by several names including Vuyani Bhebheza, Papashe Bhebheza and Vikizitha Ngqungquthela," said Sinyangana.
"He is of medium height, heavy build and liked to wear a cowboy hat."
