Johannesburg - A Sebokeng businessman has been arrested in connection with the hijacking at the weekend of a truck laden with groceries worth R300 000, Gauteng police said on Monday.
Director Govindsamy Mariemuthoo said the businessman - who owns three shops in Sebokeng near Vereeniging on the Vaal Rand - was arrested for possession of groceries which were in the truck when it was hijacked on the West Rand.
Confident that more arrests would be made soon, Mariemuthoo said police investigations were continuing.
