28/11/2006 16:46 - (SA)
Johannesburg - The case against four men arrested in connection with a shoot-out and robbery in central Johannesburg last month was postponed again on Tuesday for a bail application.
A 15-month-old baby was killed and seven others were wounded in the incident.
The men were arrested after a robbery that ended in a shoot-out between the robbers and cash-in-transit guards.
Fana Makhanya, Lawrence Alphonso, Bhekizwe Ndlovu and Muhle Mazibuko are charged with attempted murder, murder, armed robbery and possession of an unlicensed firearm.
The case was postponed to December 7 as three of the accused, Makhana, Alphonso and Ndlovu, still needed to consult with the public defender.
Mazibuko declined the services of the public defender and said he would conduct his own defence.
