Cop shoots man dead, then self

KImberley - A policeman in Keimoes shot two men, killing one, before turning the gun on himself, said Northern Cape police on Sunday.
One of the men died in Main Street, Keimoes, about 02:00 on Saturday, while the other was in a stable condition in Upington Hospital, said senior superintendent Xolani Mbanyana.
"An hour later, the same man committed suicide by shooting himself at his residence with the service pistol he had used earlier..."
The three men apparently had been partying together the previous night and the wounded man had an argument with the police officer.
The names of the dead have not yet been released.
