Woman robbed, gang-raped

Johannesburg - A 34-year-old woman was raped and robbed by three men in Heidelberg, Gauteng police said on Wednesday.
Superintendent Andy Pieke said the woman had been walking down Meyer Street in Heidelberg at 11:00 on Tuesday when she was threatened by three men with knives and a firearm.
"The men took her towards End Street under a railway bridge where they all raped her," he said.
The men then stole R500 and a cellphone.
Pieke said the woman had reported that one of the attackers was well built, had a dark complexion and was wearing brown trousers, a white shirt and black jacket.
The second man had a light complexion and wore black trousers, a yellow T-shirt and white takkies.
The third attacker was also light in complexion, short and slender and wore grey trousers, a white T-shirt and black shoes.
All three men spoke Zulu.
Heidelberg police were investigating.
