Cape Town - A 34-year-old man was shot dead at his home in Woodstock by one of his visitors after being embroiled in an argument, Cape Town police said on Sunday.

Captain Randall Stofffels said that Godfrey Hendricks had been entertaining several guests on Saturday night when an argument broke out among them.

"One of them men then fired two shots which hit him in the head killing him instantly," said Stoffels.

Police have identified possible suspects and they were confident that arrests would be made soon.
