6 injured in lightning strike

Johannesburg - Six people were injured in a lightning strike on a Boksburg vegetable farm on Friday, said Netcare 911.
The injured told paramedics they were working in the fields when it started to rain, said Netcare 911 spokesperson Nick Dollman.
They were injured when lightning struck a puddle of water close to them.
Two were seriously hurt and four had minor injuries. Three of them were men and three women.
Dollman said the six were taken to the Sunward Park Hospital in stable conditions.
