    Johannesburg - The police's 10111 number on Johannesburg's North and East Rand was crippled by lightning on Saturday night.

    Police spokesperson Juanita Kilian on Sunday morning asked residents to contact their local police station in case of emergencies.

    She said technicians had fixed the problem line by 09:00 on Sunday.
